— everyone calls me Boon —
I help enterprise brands ship lifecycle marketing that actually works — the strategy on Monday, the Jinja2 debugging on Thursday, and the tools that mean Thursday happens less often.
I'm a Customer Success Manager working with enterprise accounts on MoEngage — large retail and loyalty brands running email, push, and SMS campaigns at scale. My job title says relationship management; my browser history says API documentation.
That's the niche I've carved: the person who can present account strategy to a VP in the morning and diagnose why a template's list literal is being corrupted by the platform editor in the afternoon. Enterprise marketing platforms are powerful and messy, and I've built a career on knowing exactly where the mess lives.
Repeated problems become tools. My debugging patterns become playbooks. Everything I build in public lives at ashlall.com.
Work tooling
Automated triage for problem email templates. Feed it a raw .eml file; it surfaces rendering, encoding, and link issues in seconds instead of a manual source-code read.
Side project
Template-language conversion for platform migrations — paste AMPscript, get clean Jinja2. Built for teams switching ESPs with hundreds of legacy templates and no appetite for hand-porting them.
Side project
A dog-friendly outing planner for Toronto, named for its lead tester. Parks, trails, and patios, mapped.
Everything else
Debt payoff planner, travel companion app, lottery picker, and whatever got built last weekend — collected at ashlall.com.
Snooker player, rebuilding my technique from the stance up. Dog person — Barney has approval rights on all weekend plans. Serial converter of everyday annoyances into small web apps.
